Ruica Mokos (maried name Matuka) was born in Zagreb
on May, 30. 1936. She took her degree in English in Zagreb where
she lived and worked until retiring. Now she lives with her family
in the countryside near Zagreb, occupies herself with her hobbies
and pets and enjoys haiku moments. She writes her haiku in standard
Croatian, in the Kajkavian dialect and in English.
So far she has published work in Croatian and other literary magazines.
She has published haiku collections and received a number of prizes
(including ITOEN) in many foreign and national contests.
