Haiku in Croatian by Ružica Mokos, Zagreb, Croatia
Translation: author
a broom in her hand
sweeping the courtyard a girl
dances with leaves
s metlom u ruci
metući dvorište djevojka
pleše s lišćem
* * *
fragile and fluffy
sparkling with silver frost
wire fence in moonlight
krhke i čupave
sjaje srebrnim mrazom
žičane ograde
* * *
blown by the storm
lost among sunflower petals
a bumblebee
donešen vjetrom
izgubljen u suncokretu —
bumbar
* * *
thunder storm over
a blackbird on the fence
ruffles wet feathers
prošao pljusak
kos na ogradi stresa
mokro perje
* * *
house by house
the new lane stealthily creeps
towards the woods
kuću po kuću
nova se ulica šulja
ususret šumi
